Sheikh Abdulhamid Mpoza was the pioneer manager and Head of Department(HOD) of the Mass Communication department. He is a graduate of Mass Communication from Makerere University at both undergraduate and Masters Degrees

He is currently persuing his degree at Pujab University in Parkistan.
